My Musical Background

Writing music has always been a passion of mine, and I chose Composing / Arranging as one of my key Yr12 High School subecjts. I try to meld this hobby into my creative work by taking on a Sound Design role in game development projects where I can. I have been playing piano for sixteen years, and at one stage even gave lessons to younger students. Recently, I wrote the soundtrack for Tiki Trials, which has since been commercially released. All of my music is written using the MuseScore 2.0 sheet music notation software, and exported into audio files from there.

Illustria – Soundtrack Sample

As this personal project of mine is still in the works, I’m only currently willing to share one track from it. This track will act as the Main Theme of the game, and will play at the Title Screen. The leitmotif of this tune will be used throughout the game in several different variations.

Piano Covers

I play Piano a lot in my free time, it’s very calming and helps me relax and unwind whenever I’m feeling stressed. I’ve been known from time to time to write (and sometimes perform) Piano Covers. Here’e one such example, a tune from Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Though, as this plays quite late into the game, I’m a touch hesitant to give a title, as I’d never dream of spoiling this game!
